Yeah nah I don’t agree with that post.

First off, taxation without representation is a pretty fundamental priority for a patriot and as long as women are working they absolutely deserve the right to vote. So might as well just talk about the right for women to work since this is a very foundational concept our founding fathers stood by, and something I’m pretty black and white on.

So the right to work... the main point this article claims is that if you double the amount of workers you increase the competition for jobs. Too bad this is wrongly assuming women aren’t creating any jobs. There aren’t the same amount of jobs out there anymore because some women are highly skilled and can create a company which employs other Americans.

This post might have been more relevant in 1960, but now if you’re looking for a highly profitable, highly skilled job, you’re going to be competing against everyone in the world. Idk where you’ve been working but any company can outsource workers from other countries, the only reason American workers get hired is because right now our education system is trusted by companies and holds a greater weight in most cases than foreign education. So by taking women out of the equation, you’d just be taking more Americans out of the work force and adding foreigners.
