Worst generation ever - hated and were disrespectful to their parents (greatest generation) and also fucked over their kids (millennials/gen x) while mocking them for failing.
Millennial here. I kind of have to agree. It’s pretty misguided and uninformed to pose ageism as the issue, this is a communism issue. The same thing would be occurring if only those under 65, or pick an age, were or were not dying. It’s a political hack job at best and a foreign threat at worst.
Not only that, he got a gold casket. If that gold casket was actually buried, then we are going to see some grave robbers that were also BLM supporters/rioters.
I'm sorry for your loss. My 91 year old grandmother fell in her home in April and was taken to the hospital. After that no one was allowed to visit. She had dementia and couldn't understand why her family wasn't coming to visit her. After several weeks she was moved to a permanent care facility where we were still not allowed to visit. This is in a small town with no covid cases. Eventually she gave up eating and drinking, and only when it was clear she was going to be gone within a day or 2, they finally allowed my dad and uncle to visit. She died later that evening, after getting to see both of her sons. I am livid that she had to spend her last few months alone.
Thank you. I knew life expectancy would be easy to come up with, however anything anti on-message is increasingly difficult to search for so thought I'd be lazy and ask first. Appreciate the delivery.
It appears that the director here is specifically referring to young people. If you just look at school children, even a 1% increase in the suicide rate due to lockdown would outstrip the total COVID deaths. That requirements gets higher the older you go, but it still stands to reason that the lockdown is increasing suicides by at least 10-20%, which would mean that it's causing more deaths than its saving at least among everyone younger than 60.
The article says "Now" as in the suicide deaths are currently surpassing wu-flu deaths. i.e. suicide is rising in excess of the baseline history and as a result are surpassing the covid deaths that are occurring.
It also says *'while the CDC Chief did not explicitly link those deaths to state lockdowns...' *
The quote obviously makes it appear as if the CDC Chief is saying that Suicide deaths (total) are more than covid deaths (total) and that the reason is due to the lockdowns. Yes, it says 'amid' but let's face it, that's the take away... because of the implication
full disclosure, imho, it's absolute ignorance to not attribute those suicides to the lockdown and the resulting state of chaotic fear and panic caused by all this social engineering and induced isolation.
However, the blurb on the image is an editorialized dopamine hit and we should have higher standards.
In all fairness, in this war of information people want to be able to add to their evidence arsenal when they know they'll be met with stupid shit like that daily beast article trying to discredit Stella Immanuel because she's also a religious leader and said something nutty about demon sperm.
Pretty justifiable to hammer on people for not posting links when the OP omitted key details in his image that the link clarified (it was only in reference to school age children)
lol. It just gets incredibly frustrating. A meme is one thing but when a hard reference or summation of a fact/quote/article/comment/etc is made it's just in the best interest of all -- and common courtesy -- to link it.
It's part of what usually separates us from the drooling headline consuming byline-snippet regurgitation of the left.
For instance, for all we know, that could be taken from an article that reads
"Dangerous half-truths and manipulated stats that show the opposite of the truth through mathematical trickery and convenient elimination of important variables that are being disseminated rapidly across social media are the most dangerous threat to proper control of this virus" -- such as the misconception that the current rate of suicide deaths is now higher than covid-19 deaths among lockdown -- the CDC Chief warns.
It's good to be clear rather than "w00t image with quote I like!! YEEEAH!"
We as a whole should always demand a source and proper vetting. I won't budge on that.
There are about 30K deaths from COVID. Let's say you believe half of them are from COVID itself. That's still about three times higher than the suicide of young people. It's too early for him to have firm data but what he's saying flies in the face of historical facts too. In times of massive national stress, like war, suicide rates go down.
None of what he's saying makes sense. No wonder Fauci rose to the top if this was his competition.
It sounds like he is referring to high school and school aged people and not the general population, but that's just how I read the transcript.
It's still a great point to tell people though. No one thinks about the entire picture. The death rate for people under 45 with no pre-existing condition is effectively 0%. We need to go back to normal life or we will see a new epidemic on our hands with suicide and drugs.
Deaths from suicides and drug overdoses currently exceed deaths due to the COVID-19 virus, Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) director Dr. Robert Redfield warned during a medical presentation earlier this month.⠀ ⠀ “We’re seeing, sadly, far greater suicides now than we are deaths from COVID,” he lamented. “We’re seeing far greater deaths from drug overdose that are above excess that we had as background than we are seeing the deaths from COVID.”⠀ ⠀ Follow the link in our bio to read more.
"But there has been another cost that we’ve seen, particularly in high schools. We’re seeing, sadly, far greater suicides now than we are deaths from COVID. We’re seeing far greater deaths from drug overdose that are above excess that we had as background than we are seeing the deaths from COVID." excerpt from the article.
Important to note that the deaths are related to High schoolers, as I read it, not the public at large. It is tragic and worth mentioning, but we dont need to put any spin on an already tragic problem.
Looking at the basic numbers of how many are saved via early screening for cancer, back in fucking April we were looking at nearly a quarter million that will die due to not catching their cancers early. Now we are looking at an additional three months of screenings being postponed, it is going to be a bloodbath.
You can't just magically reschedule finding the cancer 4 months earlier
As someone who lost a brother-in-law two weeks ago to suicide, I concur.
Poor guy had a lot of pride. But he'd been unemployed since March, and employers were turning him down despite his great resume. The second round of state-ordered shutdowns two weeks ago was the last straw. Killed himself the day after Newsom issued the renewed shutdown order. 30 years old.
I brought this up months ago that this was going to be a serious side effect of the lockdowns and all this COVID-1984 bullshit. I was told I was being "over dramatic" and "cynical".
Humans tend to not do well in isolation. Add on unemployment, inability to pay bills, fear/paranoia, all the civil unrest and it's a perfect recipe for increased levels of depression, hopelessness, and, ultimately suicide.
Between my husband and myself, we don't know a single person who has died from the Wuhan flu. Sick from it, yes. Died, not one. However, we know of three who have committed suicide during all this.
Just in case anyone comes across this that might be struggling or know someone who is, try reading Feeling Good: The New Mood Therapy by David D. Burns. I imagine it might be difficult getting a therapist right now and this book has scientifically proven treatments for anxiety and depression. Burns helped create Cognitive Behavioral Therapy so it's not just another self-help book. It's still a great read even if you don't have depression and just want greater control over your emotions.
I spoke about this with a libtard and he didn't care, thought they deserved it.
I said I'm glad that you show that really deep down you don't care about people. They truly are evil and sick.
22 veterans a day, despite covid. I don’t even know what the stats are for vets since covid quarantine but they’re not going down. But the fucking “experts” like Fauci and the left don’t care about suicide rates at all for any demographic.
Oh gotcha. In the week July 11-18, ZERO people under age the age of 25 died form covid19. So even one suicide would be "more." Considering the tally for 3 months....
Now that I think about it, this statement of the CDC chief is pretty important.
So there have been tens of thousands of suicides? Yeah, I call BS. Not only is the china virus over-reaction BS, so is this. An actualy source link would have been helpful.
Hey, I'm a fuckin' boomer. I turn 70 next month. I just remodeled my house on 10 acres. lost 20 lbs. doing it, strapping on my bags and doing a lot of the work myself. I can kick half your asses so back the fuck off. I'm a semi-retired G.C. and yeah, I built that and a lot of other shit too. Worked all over the country, well over a half billion of construction over the years. Employed hundreds of folks, including a handfull of felons that I mentored and are all now quite successful. I can still "walk plate" if you even know what the fuck that means. Construction's not my only trade, I grew up in a meat packing plant, so I know what's in a hot dog. Guided fly fishing and hunting trips all ovet the globe. So take that boomer shit and shove it.
Yeah never mind the abject misery all of this bullshit is creating because > 65 year olds are dying.
The nearly incalculable loss of businesses, jobs and incomes because >65 year olds are dying.
Weddings canceled because >65 year olds are dying.
Family vacations canceled because >65 year olds are dying.
No one will ever own that all of this misery was caused because the >65 year old crowd was dying from a cold.
The boomers have once again found a way to destroy the world through their simple selfishness.
*boomers that never grew out of their hippy phase
Worst generation ever - hated and were disrespectful to their parents (greatest generation) and also fucked over their kids (millennials/gen x) while mocking them for failing.
Millennials say....”hold my beer....my 0% alcohol, craft beer”
craft beer likely, not sure about 0%
You know my parents?
I love when they complain about the generation they helped create. One of my favorite parts.
Spoken like a true millennial.
Millennial here. I kind of have to agree. It’s pretty misguided and uninformed to pose ageism as the issue, this is a communism issue. The same thing would be occurring if only those under 65, or pick an age, were or were not dying. It’s a political hack job at best and a foreign threat at worst.
Mental health issues are increasing because of this nonsense. I know my mental health hasn't been great lately.
We love you, fren. You have allies and like minded people out there
The good people of Springfield Oregon gave me hope last night that Lady Liberty is still alive and well. Stand firm Patriot. Good always wins.
The communists are trying to tear us down and sap our precious bodily fluids.
Not to mention that people are unable to attend funerals of people who have died.
At least Saint George Kirby got three funerals that people traveled to in different states.
Never mind the HUNDREDS of THOUSANDS of people that died alone not able to see family and had no funeral service.
Not only that, he got a gold casket. If that gold casket was actually buried, then we are going to see some grave robbers that were also BLM supporters/rioters.

I know a bunch that had a nasty flu-like virus in December that's suspicious in hindsight, but nobody died.
Wtf that’s heartbreaking to read man. I would be absolutely furious if I were you
The average covid death is 80! That’s higher than the average life expectancy!
Source? Asking to shove it in peoples face
Share away!
https://www.wsj.com/articles/the-covid-age-penalty-11592003287
This one says the average age of a covid death is 80. For life expectancy, any google search will give you plenty of documented sources.
EDIT: here’s a source for life expectancy. It’s says 78. https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/fastats/life-expectancy.htm
Thank you. I knew life expectancy would be easy to come up with, however anything anti on-message is increasingly difficult to search for so thought I'd be lazy and ask first. Appreciate the delivery.
How fucking hard is a link? Getting ridiculous around here.

In my area, a single suicide is infinite times more deaths than COVID has caused for the past month and a half, even with inflated reporting.
Same here. I'm right on the line between 2 counties, they've currently got 9 cases between the 2 of them, and the last death was on June 2.
This is true too.
The article says "Now" as in the suicide deaths are currently surpassing wu-flu deaths. i.e. suicide is rising in excess of the baseline history and as a result are surpassing the covid deaths that are occurring.

The constant image posts without sources are lazy.
Yeah, some are apparently suicidal, according to the CDC. That's pretty on-edge.
There are about 30K deaths from COVID. Let's say you believe half of them are from COVID itself. That's still about three times higher than the suicide of young people. yeah, it's about incoming data in 'the now'
https://thedonald.win/p/GboowEmD/x/c/142AwIyDtp
Thanks, CDC. Thanks, WHO. Thanks, NIH. May the misery you created lead to your dissolution. From the bottom of my heart, go to hell.
Is there a link or a quote?
Post a link.

Wow. That's some great info. I will be deploying this on the school board.
https://www.lifesitenews.com/news/suicides-higher-than-covid-19-deaths-amid-school-lockdown-cdc-chief-warns since OP can't be bothered.
Now do deaths related to lack of medical treatment for other illnesses.
Looking at the basic numbers of how many are saved via early screening for cancer, back in fucking April we were looking at nearly a quarter million that will die due to not catching their cancers early. Now we are looking at an additional three months of screenings being postponed, it is going to be a bloodbath.

So are death by auto but nobody cares about that either.
I swear people have forgotten how to drive since this started
As someone who lost a brother-in-law two weeks ago to suicide, I concur.

So sorry pede, that's awful.
I hope that you are able to print and share this and get Newsom out, he's evil - https://recallgavin2020.com/petition/
BUT......China virus cured heart disease?
This may be an unfair comparison. Both Covid and suicide rates should be adjusted for "normal levels", i.e above and beyond what we saw in 2019.
If this has been done, I'll eat my hat, but I think it's still to early to see a great depression style suicide run.
I know of someone close to our family who committed suicide. Don’t know anyone who died of corona virus
The WHO , fuckface fauci and your government did this to the people...they call the shots.
I brought this up months ago that this was going to be a serious side effect of the lockdowns and all this COVID-1984 bullshit. I was told I was being "over dramatic" and "cynical".

I want my gym open. It’s been driving me nuts.
People NEED to work out if it’s been a part of their routine. I don’t need to state the obvious mental health benefits.

Us dumb hillbilly inbred white country folk warned of this back in March, but what do we know
The cure is worse than the disease
I remember being told I was insane to think that would happen when we entered the third week...
22 veterans a day, despite covid. I don’t even know what the stats are for vets since covid quarantine but they’re not going down. But the fucking “experts” like Fauci and the left don’t care about suicide rates at all for any demographic.
These people should hang. They are playing with lives and they don't care!
They would kill us all if they could!
In Summit Count, Colorado we’ve had a graaaaaaaand total of 2 deaths. No suicide numbers have been released lately.
I have my doubts about this. In 2018 there were only about 48K deaths for the entire year. Have we had 150K deaths in 3 months in 2020?
2018 by state

Huh? There have been 150,000 COVID suicides? 🤔
Did he/she/xey at least muffle the "YES!" at the end
Maybe CDC chief should fire Fauci then? Or gag ball that mofo
Lock me down even longer then.
That was the plan
