India's death rate from Covid is 26 per million. It's over 600 per million in places that ban or restrict it's use including several European countries, nearly/over 1700 in NY/NJ, nearing 500 in the US.

There are dozens of other countries using HCQ also with double-digit death rates, a magnitude lower than those banning/restricting.

It's just anecdotal evidence...
