Yep. Not in texas, but I had to hit the target 50 times with a revolver and 50 times with a semi-auto for the CCL in my state (to be able to carry either, was a revolver only option for 50 shots). Was not allowed to miss 1 or I had to start over.
It was not hard to do. I didn't have to start over. There were 12 of us, none of us did, including the 3 girls who had never shot before.
No kidding, when I qualified for my CCW years ago I didn't miss the target a single time, shot four different guns that day at least, and I was pretty much a novice then. You have to be a special kind of bad to miss like this.
