That is exactly what they're trying to do because then he won't be able to work in the government anymore and absolutely any testimony he might have they can now claim isn't trustworthy....

That last part is actually the biggest issue for them... They have got to find a way to make any information he might have against Obama as unbelievable as possible.

You’re close. Flynn is under a gag order that will expire as soon as the case is done. They are trying yo keep it in effect as long as possible.
