You can also get a lung infection from the masks, not counting the dizziness, passing out and probable death from the mask making you breath in your own co2. I have a joke mask I bought off Amazon that I usually use. A costume mask. I get a lot of laughs and thumbs up. But it the eye lenses fog up. And it doesn't fit in my pocket.
So today I tried the more "traditional" mask that my wife got. I can't breathe with the damn thing on. I could actually breathe better with the ridiculous joke mask. And with my history of asthma, I do NOT like feeling like I can't breathe.

Wife and I went for a walk in our neighborhood 2 nights ago. Walked by some old woman in a mask with a tiny dog. Lady was standing there staring at us from afar as we were walking and then immediately pulled her dog as far away from our path as possible while mumbling something. Thought that was the last of her... nope. About 30 minutes later we were in a whole different part of our neighborhood working our way back and there she is... across the street from us, staring and mean mugging us as we walked by. This was at 10:30/11PM. I wouldn’t be surprised if she was contemplating calling the cops on us. 🙄

I'm in a deep blue city and I've observed 100% compliance at my grocery stores and gas stations. They have signs and even bouncers at the front making it clear you will not get service if you don't wear one.

When this all started I joked to my wife that I wish I knew where I could get one of those hazmat suits like they used in Outbreak or like Dr. No at the end of the film. Then when I would go shopping, I wanted to walk in fully outfitted in one of these outfits and walk around yelling things like "Please clear the aisle and maintain social distancing!", "Emergency! Emergency! Everyone is infected! No one is safe! Make way while I grab a can of beans!", "Do not fondle the fruits and vegetables! Please take the first one you touch or you may kill us all!" Just ridiculous stuff. Even better if I could hook up one of those voice changer things to make it sound more ominous.
Until now I've been going at this with anger and defiance. I think maybe the best tactic is to mock it into oblivion. Unfortunately, I don't have the resources for those suits, but man would I love to try this. Maybe it makes a few people realize how ridiculous they're acting.
