So many alternatives have been created, they all get shut down. Not necessarily in the literal sense but in the rhetorical kind. Many conservatives have had nothing but bad things to say about parler since that started to gain traction. It has all of the conservative leadership, cultural and political, but no. It's not acceptable to "give up on Twitter", apparently.
