Could someone briefly summarize the difference between "Vote By Mail" and "Absentee Ballots?"
I know there's a difference but I want to be able to explain it precisely to many, many normies who think it's the same thing and don't see what the big deal is.
You have to have a reason for absentee ballot voting; rules vary on who and why state to state. They have to be requested by the absent party and signatures are compared etc.
Mail in voting is no rules; mass mailing of ballots and just trusting everything to work out with no fraud - no one stealing them from mailboxes, no one destroying them, no one forging them, no one harvesting them.
