Me too!!! Love baseball, love love love football but not any more. We will not have one game on in this house because it means a dollar in the pocket of people who hate America..
I would love to get everyone's opinion on this. Do you think Pro sports are dead? I personally have been a long time NBA fan but ever since the integration of leftist propaganda into the league and their failure to acknowledge the CCP's human right's violations I've steered clear of anything to do with the NBA even though I like certain players like Kawhi Leonard and Luka Doncic. What are your thoughts? Are professional sports dead as we know it? Will you continue to support these organizations.
I'm gonna sit out pro sports until their imminent bankruptcy and revelation that sports are just entertainment and not some noble expression of humanity. 90% of that crap is genetic. You don't pick your genes.
I think its the perfect time for smaller leagues to grow. Football and the rest will never fully go away. However i am done watching them. Ive moved on to NHL and maybe ill get back into UFC
I used to be a diehard sports fan. Monday Night Football, TNF, SNF. Watch the pregames Sunday until the night game is over. I'm actually a published, paid fantasy football writer some years ago. Used to do Q&A's for anywhere from 5 to 100 people in the chat.
I quit watching 3 years ago. Kept playing fantasy because it's with friends. Finally watched last year just because I got tired of sucking in fantasy. I won of course. The entertainment value was almost zero. It's just a shitty product even without the leftist agenda. I really enjoyed the 2 years not watching. Last year, I quit after week 16. Zero desire to watch the playoffs.
I'm prepared to quit watching college football this year. That one will hurt. The NFL didn't hurt at all. Honestly, grown men obsessing over sportsball is pretty damn cringe. And I'm done with fantasy for good, which is kinda sad. It's a long running league but I just don't give a fuck and I don't want to support the NFL or ESPN in any way.
Some players today have never seen the hardships of player's past, yet claim to have been treated like slaves.
What a crock! Far cry the players that preceded them.
e.g. (source: wikipedia) You should know who this is.
"After joining the Red Sox in 1939, he immediately emerged as one of the sport's best hitters. In 1941, Williams posted a .406 batting average; he is the last MLB player to bat over .400 in a season. He followed this up by winning his first Triple Crown in 1942. Williams was required to interrupt his baseball career in 1943 to serve three years in the United States Navy and Marine Corps during World War II. Upon returning to MLB in 1946, Williams won his first AL MVP Award and played in his only World Series. In 1947, he won his second Triple Crown. Williams was returned to active military duty for portions of the 1952 and 1953 seasons to serve as a Marine combat aviator in the Korean War. In 1957 and 1958 at the ages of 39 and 40, respectively, he was the AL batting champion for the fifth and sixth time."

They've been dead to me for years. I haven't watched any sports or hardly any TV at all for that matter for a couple of years now.
The NBA needed to die after the Jordan era, when it became a celebration of gang culture

CANCEL ALL WOKEBALL
RIP It was a good run until the woke virus killed it. Fuck em.
I was hoping the MLB wouldn't fold, but it did. Sad.
Ironic that all three logos are red white and blue - meaning at one point they were patriotic.
