I don't know about Botox for depression but Botox isn't a "poison" that goes all over your body and "poisons" you. Please don't fearmonger.. it paralyzes nerves in a very small area where it is injected, for about three months. A very useful medical tool.

As a Medically retired Army vet with severe migraines from a TBI, the VA is all about botox injections in the head and face. The injections are extremely painful but bring relief for months.

Botox is a controlled form of the toxin. It can still cause Botulism if it's not administered correctly, so in that sense it's poison. This is why it's important to seek doctors vs medical spas.
