I know states like NY, Minnesota & PA ordered long term care facilities or nursing homes to take covid patients. Was there a financial incentive from the state for these nursing homes for this move? If so, were they paid through cares act? Do we know how much? What was the incentive for that particular state to make that order?

Unfortunately it was far more evil than that. Sending positive Covid patients to nursing homes which were the most vulnerable population ensured the spread of the disease and higher death rates. Once you understand that the ultimate goal of the virus is to create a fear that will drive in the “need” for mail in voting so they can steal the election you will understand why they continue to push false numbers and suppress the HCQ cure that exists. It’s all about the election
http://archive.is/ALKpK Yeah I know politico.
“Programs designed to help elderly people with coronavirus are creating a perverse financial incentive for nursing homes with bad track records to bring in sick patients, raising the risks of spreading infections and substandard care for seriously ill patients, according to advocates for the elderly and industry experts. Coronavirus-positive patients can bring in double or more the funding of other residents.States including California, Massachusetts, Michigan and New Mexico, wanting to relieve pressure on crowded hospitals, are providing extra incentives for nursing homes to accept such patients.”
WOW. This is unbelievable. So these desperate places who already had low ratings created covid wings to receive patients while right on the other side of the "wing" are regular elderly who are the most vulnerable?? How in the hell???
I think all you need to know is that Cuomo forced Covid pts back into the most least capable place you could put an infected pt. They had nothing to work with.
welcome.
not sure about nursing homes. hospitals got about 40k for every corona/ventilator death they reported i believe.
im thinking the state got money for every death, which is why people like Gov Cuomo basically sentence the elderly to death with his EO.
but again, im not positive. let someone with more info verify
Thank you for the welcome fazzman! yes, I recently learned about the hospital incentive which is also why I'm really curious about the nursing homes.
Interesting point you make about the state getting money for deaths. I would love to know more. I'm done being an ostrich. I must know what is happening around me!!!!!
I do know that providers in general get paid lots for coding covid. Don't know source exactly. There is definitely an incentive. Now some might say that it needs to be higher for whatever reason but yeah.
Also, directives were issued by NY state authorities and in Cuomo’s executive orders which compelled nursing homes to admit positive patients.
Working from a faulty memory I believe it was EO 205.2 . . .
