I just say, "do you lock your friend door?". Because your front door isn't some impenetrable wall. It's at the minimum to slow down someone's entrance.
a door is only as impenetrable as the wall around it. you can have the most indestructible door around, doesn't matter if it's attached to a slightly less indestructible wall. and god help you if you have windows.
