Even the way they went after domestic terrorists during the Obama years always fucked me up. They basically singled out isolated muslim teenagers, planned a terrorist attack, pressured the kids to take part in the attacks and then arrested them when they agreed to carry out the attack. Now don't get me wrong fuck them for wanting to attack our country but the FBI creating terrorists is fundamentally wrong.
I always think of JFK's speech to the Newspapers Publishers Association when they come up.
The very word "secrecy" is repugnant in a free and open society; and we are as a people inherently and historically opposed to secret societies, to secret oaths and to secret proceedings. We decided long ago that the dangers of excessive and unwarranted concealment of pertinent facts far outweighed the dangers which are cited to justify it. Even today, there is little value in opposing the threat of a closed society by imitating its arbitrary restrictions. Even today, there is little value in insuring the survival of our nation if our traditions do not survive with it. And there is very grave danger that an announced need for increased security will be seized upon by those anxious to expand its meaning to the very limits of official censorship and concealment.
I know it was spoken in a different context but the words still hold true when thinking about the role of the CIA and the FBI in modern America. I think both serve a vital purpose but the almost limitless operational concealment they now operate under has become more detrimental than beneficial. Even today when looking at the Portland riots, and seeing those green lasers, it's hard not to be reminded of Tahrir Square in Egypt. Where those very lasers were used in a coup that we sponsored and the CIA oversaw. Then my mind wanders to Ukraine and the events in Kiev that led to a bloody revolution... and I worry that those same tactics are being employed here.
What are some recent "big wins" the FBI has? Feel free to define 'recent' however you like.

Ever see the Bourne Films or Shooter? Its fiction. And it should scare everyone.
They did that during the bush years also. In fact, it was a plot point in the tv show Lost. It was part of Sayiid's backstory
Garland Texas. They had an escort in the car behind them.
They have arrested a lot of pedo rings under President Trump's administration.
There’s one sitting in front of their face and has been for years...
How about no
