Remember when saying 1776 on Reddit was considered hate speech and a suspendible offense?

Pepe farms remembers

Wait, .. is "1" Freedom and "1776" being sick of their sh¡t?

Because, that would reallllly change my answer.

That's the way I read it, yes. Then the cycle repeats. We know our shot heard round the world will last longer than 20 years, but not as long as 245 years. Those are pretty good odds, I'd say

Nope, it’s real. One of the last things before the sub got shut. Admins, not mods, removed it and said it was targeted hate speech. Clown world and a half

That is fucked. I haven't had any issues, but I also add that the condition is related to my Military service, which is true. Nobody seems to want to fuck with that. I also try my best to only support the businesses of fellow Patriots that haven't cucked to make masks mandatory.

CuomoisaMassMurderer 16 points ago +16 / -0

Wal-mart, Walgreens and most other big chains have reversed their policy! Even though they still say you have to wear a mask, they tell their employees to NOT confront anyone refusing to wear a mask. They're afraid they will get HURT. They've had some violent confrontations is their claim. Even though it's bs and we know it's about sales, I say GO WITH IT!

We have the momentum from voting with our wallet, play the intimidation angle.

9
NormaJeanRocks 9 points ago +9 / -0

14

WhitePowerRanger 12 points ago +13 / -1

You can sue them just for asking for an ADA card

5
tufftoffee 5 points ago +5 / -0

They won't do anything. They radio the manager letting them know someone is going in without a mask and that's it. I don't give them the time of day unfortunately these cucked stores are the only ones near me. I had no issue with Target or Lowes either (who don't have guards stationed). Small businesses are a good bet for no masks.

Had a kefuffle at Applebees over masks but it was a birthday party so I wore one just to be walked to a table and promptly take it off. I'm never going there again. The food was shit and wearing a mask into a restaurant doesn't make sense if you're just gonna take it off to eat. That's the only restaurant so far that gave me a problem. (Not that I've been to many since this shit started).

5
CuomoisaMassMurderer 5 points ago +5 / -0

I also have avoided them entirely, but there's a long list of stores that has done this and I only read about it in an article tonight. The funny thing is I warned people on Nextdoor a week ago that trying to control people would blow up in their face and to consider if it was worth it.

So apparently the most any employee will do is call the manager. Even if their name is not Karen. They expect it to turn violent. We can use this to our advantage without crossing the line of battery or even assault. Or we could just say something about medical exclusion or religious objection I suppose. But the culturally effective thing to do is reverse the intimidation in all forms; cancel culture, blm, masks, etc.

5
dakin116 5 points ago +5 / -0

My inlaws went to an Aldi yesterday and shopped with no mask. they had a cartful ready to check out and were told at the register they couldnt purchase without a mask. They said if they bought a mask they could. The cheapest they had was a pack of 10 for $23. They left the groceries on the counter and walked out.

3
I_Used_to_be_me 3 points ago +3 / -0

Only place I've been to requiring one was CVS. Got some people I sensed were avoiding me (customers) but otherwise nothing was said. I actually had an issue at the self-checkout, so I kind of backed up from it as the employee came over to help just to be courteous and she was like "oh, don't worry about it, I don't care."

3
tufftoffee 3 points ago +3 / -0

I heard before the rollback someone brandished their firearm at a Wal-Mart "health ambassador." He was arrested. But hey, it got results didn't it?

2
CuomoisaMassMurderer 2 points ago +2 / -0

He made the sacrifice for us all. I didn't hear about that. I'm planning on searching, apparently some videos went viral and spurred the policy change.

3

"You may return with a face shield. Until then you must leave. I'm not getting fined $1k again from the health department.". I've heard it.

1
KMacsBinder 1 point ago +1 / -0

Thats a bunch of BS. Did they pass a law mandating masks in your area? If not, the businesses need to tell the health department to stick it up their ass.

5
ModernKnight 5 points ago +5 / -0

Even if they did, the ADA trumps the mandate, and you can sue them with this process here. Really, you usually just need to threaten it. https://www.ada.gov/filing_complaint.htm

Except this isn’t a local small business owner making a decision. This is a coordinated effort by all of these mega corporations to push a bullshit agenda. It’s the same thing with all the local newspapers getting bought up by one master corporation that owns them all, and then all those papers, that used to be diverse, independent, and different, become monolithic, coordinated, all acting in unison. Sure the argument might be made that “he who owns the newspapers gets to decide this, not you”, but it’s also not the way this was supposed to be, and everyone knows it. It’s not just the mask mandate, it’s the way it is coordinated and pushed by monolithic powers.

You are delusional if you think business owners by and large are doing this because they "want to." It is hurting their sales. They are doint it because they feel forced either by state or local fines or by fear of lawsuits from "muh health oh no the nearly non-lethal virus will get me" pansy employees. They absolutely DON'T want to be doing this, and if any law is passed clarifying that employees can't sue over this, then I guarantee you virtually theonly place left mandating them will be places with fear of the local or state fines.

Upvoted! Though in place of "fuck off" I like to use "Doctors said not to wear it" or my new short form I'm stealing from someone here on tdw: "Medically exempt, thanks!" :) Still, no one needs to obey an illegal, dangerous order of any sort, ever.

We need to do it before fraudulent election results are announced. After that our position weakens substantially. We need to fight mail-in ballots with everything we've got. Tell the State R party to sue the State over it. When they refuse realize it's because they want to use the funds to campaign. Tell them perfectly deadpan that whoever wins the Civil War will not be keeping them in power anyway. Their only hope is to facilitate a fair election.

Now I test the limits of places I go to see if they'll let me in without a mask. I've also protested a small amount when the Mask Mandate was first announced in Alabama.

9
stvrap79 9 points ago +9 / -0

It doesn’t even make sense. If two people enter an aisle from different directions to get to a specific cereal, what difference does it make which direction they came from? Same bullshit at my Walgreen pharmacy. While waiting on line to pay, they have those, “stand here” marks for social distancing. They are nazis about enforcing it, but don’t care that there are multiple lines only a couple feet apart.

6
CuomoisaMassMurderer 6 points ago +6 / -0

Yeah that's pretty ghey. I haven't seen a situation like that. Usually lines are more than 6' apart.

In your hypothetical with two people reaching for the same item you're right, it makes no difference which direction anybody came from. Most of the time people are looking for different things, even in the same aisle. Although if everything Goya is crammed into a partial aisle, that's different. Half the store will be there!

7
WhitePowerRanger 7 points ago +7 / -0

Corona only travels one way idiot. But if someone is in front of you, it won’t get to them because they walked the same way as you did to get ahead of you, so corona knows not to hurt them. Jesus Christ people, read a book

5
WhitePowerRanger 5 points ago +5 / -0

2
tufftoffee 2 points ago +2 / -0

Unless there are employees stationed to sanitize the aisle every time someone walks through it, no, one-way aisles are useless.

People who are scared of the virus shouldn't go shopping anyway.

5
philandy 5 points ago +5 / -0

When I realize I'm following the arrows, I curse under my breath.

3
FireannDireach 3 points ago +3 / -0

Our stores didn't do that, surprisingly (CA, Safeways). We have the mask requirement, and they have the "You must wear a mask and maintain 6 feet distancing requirements" going on the speakers, but that's it. And, half the people wear the mask like a chin bra now. Nobody really maintains 6 feet either. Most of the fat housewives and old people stop dead in the middle of the aisle and expect you to squeeze by.

I do love how empty it is these days, though. I can get in, shop, and get out so much faster these days, and I'm loving the lack of traffic, even though it's one of the horsemen of the financial apocalypse. But if it's all gonna burn, at least I won't be standing in a fucking line.

1
deleted 1 point ago +1 / -0
2
HiddenDekuScrub 2 points ago +2 / -0

Eh, I half-followed them trying not to make waves, but that was months ago when I still felt like the stores were taking a lot of heat they didn't have to. Now? Nobody's following them and my patience has run out so meh.

16
RyanUpCreek 16 points ago +16 / -0

The thing about masks are that we are least likely to talk to each other while wearing them and with all of the democrat failure and overt sedition you can see they feel the need to re implement mask mandates. They are shitting green in their diapers and it is the only move they have on the chessboard. People talking during an election season is not permitted in a democrat run state and that is because they know Trump is going to win if the Truth spreads. They are afraid of the Truth virus.

LOL, people have normalized the mask, and talk as much as they used to. That's why I think Fauci is pimping goggles, even though eye transmission has never been a thing with this. Either they know China is firing off a new one that can be transmitted by eyeball, or they're going to mandate new equipment that will sell out fast, nobody will get, they'll hoard for "frontline" workers and hospitals, and us? Well we can go fuck ourselves for a couple more months sitting at home, unable to leave because you can't get the right goggles off Amazon. By the time they're back in stock, the election will be over. This shit ENDS November 4th. Because it won't matter anymore, whoever wins. We'll either be watching cities burn, or preparing for the terror of Biden burning everything down, starting with the stock market.

15
MAGA_Fuckhead 15 points ago +16 / -1

The other night I went to the grocery store, with poster-sized signs on the entrances urging patrons to wear masks, but at least they arent requiring them for entry. I of course will not shop at any mask-mandate business. A man walked by my near vicinity fumbling with his mask, coughing repeatedly, and I blurted out "that guy has no business being out in public!" So basically stop subjecting those of us in good heath and with common courtesy to tyranny, when people like the guy I mentioned should be escorted out of the fucking store. Literally everyone I have seen coughing in public throughout this entire debacle has been either morbidly obese or elderly. Sorry assholes, YOU are the ones who should self-quarantine and let the rest of us go on with our lives in normalcy!

15
BallsackPaneer 15 points ago +15 / -0

I had a confrontation earlier this week at a Subway in Abilene, Texas of all places. It started out with the usual fuckery about mask wearing and then they finally shut their yappers while the assistant manager got on the phone to call his manager or cops.

The hysterical part is I never found out who was actually called because a massive roach crawled over the glass sneeze-guard, which pretty much made my decision to leave for me.

The folks at DQ were not assholes and never commented on my lack of face-diaper.

Next thing you know, they will have the whole grocery store be one long twisting one way isle. If you forget something, you gotta go around again. Each time someone gets indecisive about what pack of bacon to get, the line backs up like rush hour. Eventually, they take away your right to sort through the bacon for the one that's best.

8
TehAgent 8 points ago +8 / -0

The government has given incentive to continue this charade too.

Hospitals get paid extra for uninsured Rona deaths and allegedly get paid for every ventilator in use.

People get paid extra to stay home and not work.

Couple that with the control freaks, Karens and virtue signalers and this is a perfect storm of people that just buy the story because its easy and it benefits them to not ask questions. It benefits them to keep the charade going in fact.

Trump did what he had to do and I agree with his decisions so far, simply because he's making the moves he has to make.

Healthy people dont need to wear masks. Asymptomatic transmission is not a legit thing. Even if it were in the rare case, if you arent showing symptoms youre not coughing or sneezing which is allegedly how its spread. Unless youre belting out The SOund Of Music while picking up your bananas at the store you dont need one.

The CDC knows this. They just want you to have a constant reminder that things 'arent normal'. They have found yet another way to divide people and removed the humanity from them. Now everyone you see is a faceless disgusting bacteria and virus infested threat.

I have tried to discuss this stuff from HCQ to mask studies and no one wants to have a real discussion; or rather, cant. Every single person makes various styles of ad hominem attacks; usually trying to discredit the studies or the people that did them. When confronted about it - politely - they tend to just hit a laugh reaction and disappear from the discussion. No one can back up anything they say thus far with a rational argument using facts and data. They've just chosen a side that they like and done absolutely no research at all to be able to not only at least discuss the matter but know why they have chosen a side.

3
dakin116 3 points ago +3 / -0

I was once in an aisle in Home Goods where the arrows were pointing at each other. 😂

Land of the free but I have to pay for college- deplorable leftist

1
tufftoffee 1 point ago +2 / -1

No excuses. I'm halfway through school debt free. I'm paying for this semester with my hard earned cash with grants and scholarships I earned along with the Pell Grant. I'm going into IT which will pay for what little debt I do accrue. (Which will probably be under 20k at worst).

Fuck people who amass over 50-100k in debt and whine about it. There was probably a better way but they were too blindsided by "muh college experience" to even attempt an alternative.

I don’t. I don’t wear a mask and I ignore the fucking arrows.

Who's still going in stores? Curb side pickup is my jam, don't even have to get out and impulse buy a bunch of additional stuff I don't really need.

1
HiddenDekuScrub 1 point ago +1 / -0

To be honest, this has been my main workaround for the whole mess. If I absolutely have to go indoors somewhere, I get out my plague doctor mask just to be funny. It's gotten some compliments. (Not everywhere, but yeah.)

Does that cost extra? We don't have a whole foods is a bit too far for us so we never consider it. It's about 30 minutes away but we have an Aldi, target, Publix, Walmart all within 5 minutes and they don't charge extra.

I'm trying to think up the perfect 1619 reference for exploitation of this slave labor

Muzzle free since the beginning and I try to only shop stores that give you choice.

Come to WA state

It’s all the stores

Sage4wt 3 points ago +3 / -0

Can confirm. It's been astonishing to witness the effectiveness of "conditioning" the masses.

Not the same breed these days. Good times make weak men.

I do know it's a fact, I spend a lot less $$$ because I'm smothering, so I have to get in and out quickly.

Take your frustrations out on the POLITICIANS, not the businesses or their employees that are simply following MANDATES in order to open.

The business would much rather prefer large crowds in order to maximize their sales.

tech121 14 points ago +14 / -0

I live in Georgia with NO mandates. Walmart, Krogers and all these other stores decided to force us to wear masks. So yea, i have a problem with them.

2
CuomoisaMassMurderer 2 points ago +2 / -0

They changed their policy! They claim violent events over masks made them decide it wasn't worth it, they instruct their employees to NOT confront anyone not wearing a mask.

We know it's really because they lost our business for a WEEK, but I say go with it and play up the intimidation angle!

2
tufftoffee 2 points ago +2 / -0

I heard someone brandished at a Wal-Mart and got arrested during the mask week. I guess it worked huh?

1
Iridiue 1 point ago +1 / -0

I feel the same way. I hate wearing a mask, but, I'll never make a fuss about it while inside a business because I understand that from the worker's perspective it's much different.
