Did people seriously follow those arrows in stores? When shit was bad in April I was already stocked up but it just looked pathetic, especially at that point they told people that masks were no good.
I moonwalk down the wrong way backwards while singing “can’t touch this” by MC hammer and wearing that mask that that gross ass buck tooth goblin wore at the end of LOTR RotK (basically it covers everything except your mouth for those who haven’t seen it)
I did the same back in March but after i realized this shit was fake by you based pedes (and the white house investigating and figuring out it came from a lab in china) I stopped caring. Now I test the limits of places I go to see if they'll let me in without a mask. I've also protested a small amount when the Mask Mandate was first announced in Alabama.
It doesn’t even make sense. If two people enter an aisle from different directions to get to a specific cereal, what difference does it make which direction they came from? Same bullshit at my Walgreen pharmacy. While waiting on line to pay, they have those, “stand here” marks for social distancing. They are nazis about enforcing it, but don’t care that there are multiple lines only a couple feet apart.
Yeah that's pretty ghey. I haven't seen a situation like that. Usually lines are more than 6' apart.
In your hypothetical with two people reaching for the same item you're right, it makes no difference which direction anybody came from. Most of the time people are looking for different things, even in the same aisle. Although if everything Goya is crammed into a partial aisle, that's different. Half the store will be there!
Corona only travels one way idiot. But if someone is in front of you, it won’t get to them because they walked the same way as you did to get ahead of you, so corona knows not to hurt them. Jesus Christ people, read a book
Our stores didn't do that, surprisingly (CA, Safeways). We have the mask requirement, and they have the "You must wear a mask and maintain 6 feet distancing requirements" going on the speakers, but that's it. And, half the people wear the mask like a chin bra now. Nobody really maintains 6 feet either. Most of the fat housewives and old people stop dead in the middle of the aisle and expect you to squeeze by.
I do love how empty it is these days, though. I can get in, shop, and get out so much faster these days, and I'm loving the lack of traffic, even though it's one of the horsemen of the financial apocalypse. But if it's all gonna burn, at least I won't be standing in a fucking line.
Eh, I half-followed them trying not to make waves, but that was months ago when I still felt like the stores were taking a lot of heat they didn't have to. Now? Nobody's following them and my patience has run out so meh.

I'm embarrassed to say I actually did the first few times they put them out. But then I realized no one really cared.
I don't wear a mask but make a show of following the arrows. Had no confrontations yet but I'm pretty sure I have triggered a few people.

You win today.
Do you guide people using those flashlights with cones they use on the tarmac?

Who are you, that you are so wise in the ways of science?
Unless there are employees stationed to sanitize the aisle every time someone walks through it, no, one-way aisles are useless.
People who are scared of the virus shouldn't go shopping anyway.
When I realize I'm following the arrows, I curse under my breath.
