Someone tried to point this out as an ad hominem (poisoning the well) attack. The idea was that since she believed in demons and voodoo-type things, nothing she says is credible.

Not one person to date that passionately fights for the 3000$ treatment vs HCQ has been able to explain to me why. Not even the nurses and techs that chime in. I am polite and considerate and want an actual discussion, but I cant get one. They break down and leave the discussion when questions start - usually after attacking the source instead of the information the source provides. All but one of them has talked down to me and flat out refused to respond to legitimate questions and facts with laughing reactions instead. This is with me providing shit tons of links and being polite and respectful throughout the 'discussion'.

This just happened again the other night. A travel nurse I know, a tech (not quite a nurse but still medical) and a lefty friend of mine all chimed in. Only one of them, the actual nurse, did not attack the source and treat me as if I were dumb for even asking the question. The nurse, however, flat out refused to answer any questions (not questions that violate HIPAA either) and instead bolstered her argument with anectdotal evidence then stopped responding after asserting herself as an expert twice. The only good thing that came out of the nurse is that I noticed she kept making sure to say HCQ doessnt work as a treatment - which to me indicates she knows it works as a preventative but refused to admit it.
