That's what they're literally already doing. A realtor friend of mine told me Chinese nationals have been purchasing up all the available CA property "sight unseen" for years. I'm actually convinced their strategy of letting homeless squat on private property (and fining the property owners for not cleaning up their feces and trash) is all a way to force more property owners to sell and help ChiCom buy up more of their state. As soon as China owns everything they'll make one simple change in their homeless policy "Homeless cannot camp on private property anymore" and the problem they created is instantly solved and the value goes right back up.
Did the same thing last year. VERY happy to be out of that commie infested hell hole.
