You see it all the time from conservatives,. "never interfere with an enemy while he's in the process of destroying himself" or " most of us work and have too much to lose, if they interfere with our livelihood it's on". Well they might be destroying themselves, but they're taking the fucking country with them and by the time they hit the livelihood trigger point it'll be far too late to preserve any of it.
