I've found "literally" quickly approaching the new "like." It's gotten so obnoxious lately that I try to use "figuratively" at every time it's said. Just so people know there's no need to say to constantly specify the non figurative nature of their discussion.

I used to get triggered a little when people would use words like the n-word. I really don't care now and move right on past it. When people say, "fuck black people," I move right on past it. I no longer care at all after having been called a racist for the last 12 years.

I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character. Unless the content of their character reflects the social norms of the culture they grew up in. In which case criticizing them should be viewed as a form of bigotry. You know what? Scratch that shit.
