Snopes: this is false. There is zero proof a dog was ever able to vote. The only animal other then human that has voted is a cat, not a dog.

Moved recently, registered today! Nothing will stop me from voting DJT in 2020!

I'm moving into a new home this very weekend. I will have enough time to register right?

If it's within the same state it's super quick typically to do an address change. If it's a new state I guess it depends on how quickly that state gets it done, but you should be fine. Don't wait though, hop online and get that shit done today pede.

In the '18 midterms my wife's address change didn't get done (mine did and we did then at same time so I called bs was pissed) for some reason. I drove her to our old town and she got in the doors with about 5 minutes left. I'm proud of my lady pede, wasn't political at all before GEOTUS but there was no way they were taking her vote away from her. Point is, don't be deterred and get it done for our President!

I had to do that in ‘18 as well, drove across town to where I used to live that morning to vote.

Its a new address within my county, so I'll probably stop by the DMV early this coming week to update my license. I'm pretty sure I can update my voter registration there. Just want to make sure I don't get left out!

First time voting in a presidential election

Right, last 3 elections, in a heavily blue county, I wasn't asked to show identification

In my county it's so illegals can vote. We need voter ID in the worst way

Same and I have a PO Box on my drivers license which isn't coming off.

It's technically allowed in my state but they try to discourage it. I stood my ground and told them I was a "homeless transient so go get your supervisor" she then shut up and keyed it in. They DO force you to also give them the address you are "living at" which isn't printed on your DL just for their records, so I just gave them the street address of the Post Office my PO Box is at. KEK. You also cannot find me on Intellius, PeopleFinder, or any other public information broker websites. I also don't personally own any assets. Before I moved somewhere I cannot disclose here I used to also use the Post Office's street address and zip code + my PO box number for anything that didn't allow PO Boxes online such as banking info, car registration, insurance garaging address, ALL MAIL, and even Amazon was delivered to their Drop Off locations instead of my apartment. I can't say why here but my apartment was highly secured as well.

I'm usually overseas but want to become a Texas "resident" (i.e. move my CA license to TX) but you need actual proof of residency so I figured out a way: Take a Spirit Airlines from Los Angeles to DFW, get a 1 week stay hotel for $249 a week, get a PO Box at a US Post Office that offers their new "street address" service or a PMB (personal mailbox store - Mailboxes Etc. type places), buy a renters insurance policy for one month off the internet for the address of your PO or PMB box, and order a selective service verification letter or have a local government send you something in the mail, then go get your Texas license: https://www.dps.texas.gov/internetforms/Forms/DL-57.pdf

You should write a book. The standard on how to disappear is way out of date.

In Harris county, whenever I went to update my address, once they found out I was republican I feel like they tried to screw up my info. The lady that was helping me was replaced with someone who spoke barely any english. She had to get help twice. I had to spell out my name and address on paper. Then once they confirmed my info and handed me the paperwork, the name and address was still screwed up. It didn't take long to correct it, but I cant imagine how many other peoples info is messed up. So folks, please be careful.

Also, make sure you put your entire middle name and not just initial.

Must match your driver's license.

That's assuming you live in a state where they actually check you ID before allowing you to vote.

MudDog 1 point ago +1 / -0

Must be alive

What?! That's not even a requirement to be on the SCOTUS!

And if you've moved out of state or county, please remember to have them remove your name off of the voting rolls. They won't do it automatically.

Thank you! Got married right before everything shut down and changed my name and address everywhere else and somehow forgot my voter registration! I would have been devastated if I couldn’t vote!

I'll be in college when I need to vote. Should I request an absentee ballot or register in my college town?

Blergaderg 2 points ago +2 / -0

Man, for me, I’ve been going through some serious difficulty with my ID. I was born in one state, but didn’t get a license there, moved to a different state and got a license there. Then found out the birth certificate I had that I got the license with was wrong as it didn’t have my true last name, so I moved back to my first state without knowing this. Went to get a couple birth certificates and found out the difference in my last name.

Now I have to go through a bunch of Mumbai-jumbo just to get a new license in the state I live in with the accurate last name and it’s taking me months to get it done. Doesn’t help that “corona” is around making everything harder. I don’t even think I’ll be able to vote this year, let alone soon even drive legally. I didn’t vote in 2016 because all candidates seemed wacko and now I want to vote trump, but I can’t.

I swear pedes. I’m at my wits-end. I just want to vote and change my mailing address but I can’t even do that without an ID in this state that supports it being my mailing address.

Sorry about the fuzzy details, don’t want to give out any personal Information and somehow get dozed by a lurking cuck.

whocaresguy420 2 points ago +2 / -0

Feel ya. Was a bitch to get a new licence in a new state so I could get unemployment. Lost my birth cert. Huge headache. Couldn't start the process til June cuz of shutdowns

Anyone doing voter registration similar to Scott Presler? It's the best way to increase our chances of winning.

2
stratocaster_patriot 2 points ago +2 / -0

Room for fraud there too I just renewed by DL in WA with nothing more than logging into their website and filling out some information. Got my new DL in the mail a week later. An new enhanced DL at that. As far as I remember there wasn't a lot I had to answer that would definitively prove it was me or that nobody else could find out about me.

In Michigan, they have been making very hard to get into the Secretary of State offices (The equivalent to the DMV in other states). They require you to wear a mask and make an appointment in advance (no walk-ins!) and they're booked up until late October at just about every branch.

This is all from a proclamation from Governor Shitmer.

I moved back in December into my first house. Got my license updated the following month as well as my voter registration card (also finally switched my party affiliation from Independent to Republican because fuck liberals, that's why).

Kermit 2 points ago +2 / -0

I ended up re-registering at the recommendation of the county now I'm worried a ballot IN MY NAME will be mailed to my old address unsolicited.

One of the first things I did when I moved in February. Won't be missing this election if it kills me.

Where I live, they don’t send you a new DL when you move. As long as you change it with the DMV it’s good.

Wonder how that affects it.

I've got a primary/municipal vote coming up next week in my area. I think many places do. It's a good idea to vote in local elections always but it's even more important now because it's a good test run for November. Look into it if you can.

Nobody in nevada even ask for an ID

1
lukeskywalker 1 point ago +1 / -0

It depends on your state and maybe county. You can bring a bill with your current address instea. The more secure states require this as well as signature. You have to vote in the precicnt youre registered in is all.

1
Side-o-Beef_Curtains 1 point ago +2 / -1

Hahahahahahahaha haha "driver's license " lolololol I live in California. You just show up and show them the voter registration packet mailed to your house. Sometimes all you have to do is tell them your name here. I can't wait to leave this shit hole.

Don worry my parents will vote Democrat. (They are deceased)

1

good to know. I changed my registration anyway from independent to republican recently to help out in the primaries.

If I'm in the military and stationed in Virginia and registered to vote in Virginia but my driver's license is from a different state am I going to have trouble voting?

1
Fireberg 1 point ago +1 / -0

My state’s primary is on Tuesday. There was a 6 week wait to get a new driver’s license because of the kungflu. I’ll get it a few days after the primary and will have it for the general so I can vote for Trump.

1
SmartPlenty86 1 point ago +1 / -0

Don't wait! The DMV near us is taking people by appointment only. Our new neighbor, a Conservative refugee from SoCal, missed the sign up date to vote in the Primary. He's in good shape for the General Election, though.

Good comment. I know an old trucker who talks trash about liberals all day long for years. Catholic. First time he voted was 2016
