I don't support Hollywood and the media.

Cancel your cable TV service and kill two birds with one stone.

Hear, hear, fren.

I haven't had TV since about 2014, and I'm happier for it.

Was on a trip recently and had an unexpected layover. Airline put me up in a hotel room and I got to see cable again for the first time since I cut that cord.

I don't miss it. Ads every five minutes on the shows, pandering to the lowest common denominator... just awful. Why do people pay for that "service" anyway?

I cut the cord in 2013/14 as well. Damn it feels good. No social media or streaming services either!

I only have antenna TV and I only watch the old people stations that play old westerns and shows from the 50s and 60s. The old shows have better stories and characters than most of today's shows.

Also, a lot of these older shows I noticed have a morale message to their stories and positive role models for children, also something lacking in modern tv.

I cut the cord in 2015. Sports was the only thing keeping me but the Bruce Jenner ESPY shit and the follow the gay player during the NFL Draft among other race-based shit put the nail in the coffin for me.
