I’ve seen this photo several times now, and I can’t help but stop and stare at it for a few moments each time. It’s so profound. Anybody who’s ever worked a job, regardless of language, creed, or ethnicity, knows that look of exhaustion which only comes from giving something your all. And it’s coming from a guy who could’ve retired and lived fabulously years ago, but didn’t – couldn’t – and still won’t.
