Diversity quotes are usually around gender and race (not so much age which impacts everyone) and focus on black/hispanic and other minorities. Go to any tech company and Indian’s are not the minority. HB1’s benefit the US but are abused for lower-end positions that American’s are qualified for or can be trained for but are less likely to work as hard at because they don’t risk deportation. HB1 is a ‘genius visa’ and we should accept very specialized PHD’s, doctors, etc...to keep the US as an innovator. The guy who answers the help desk ticket is not a genius, nor the web dev, or average software engineer.
