And we should deal with that in a severe manner.

Yeah, sure. The ACLU is pursuing a principled privacy rights position here. /s

The days of worrying about privacy are long gone unless you are a hermit and completely go dark.

Thats the wrong answer. Saying "we have some intrusions therefore all intrusion should be accepted" is idiotic.

Just reality. Not realizing it's too late to change that is even more idiotic. Everywhere you go there are cameras. You probably are on a database just by posting here.

This is just stupid. Yes, we can change it. You ever lose information on a sim card before? You ever take down a camera before?

Your attitude is the thing needing a change.

Do you travel by plane or go abroad, go into a casino? You are already on a facial database. The retina scan on your phone? Done with you and your paranoia. Fuck you and your personal attacks as well.

Yeah, and we could stop all this. We could make such things illegal. We could demand the destruction of records. We could demand removal of cameras.

That is tricky. If you have 95 peaceful people and 5 people throwing fireworks at police, it should be fair game to livestream everything and do facial recognition on everyone.

Livestreaming a peaceful protest is problematic. These protests turn violent quickly. If people are coming with shields and umbrellas and weapons, they don't get to claim it's a peaceful protest anymore.
