I always thought the indictments and duram report would come after the election. Politicians usually play it safe until their second term, then go all in.
That is the smart play politically. It can hurt the legitimacy of the cases if it looks like it's just to influence an election.

I desperately wanted to call in and tell him that if conservatism is falling apart, the left has gone completely off the rails and is on fire at this point. The right is dealing with in fighting, but we are missing just how out of touch and broken the left currently is. They are courting a base that is so disgusted with them and the system at large that it's not a guarantee that any of those people will go vote, let alone vote Biden.
The left is absolutely broken. This "insanity" is really death throes of a decades-long attempt at turning the US into a socialist country. That effort was completely turned upside down by Trump winning the election.
They thought they were close and found out they were further away than before Obama.
So you have a split between those pushing for literal revolution, not willing to start over the process, and those who've just given up.
The net effect is that they're tearing apart any gains they made by showing their true nature to the public, and shredding the Democrat party in the process.
I don't expect the Democrat party to survive this, not without some serious upheaval. What I suspect will happen is a "social Democrat" party will split out of it and the old Democrat party will finally die off over a decade or so.
Keep in mind it wasn't even 9 months ago that the worst thing Pelosi could do was rip up the SOTU speech. Now she's openly making vague threats about getting rid of Trump and Pence. That's not a thing people who are in control of a situation do.
Not to mention just last year AOC and Pelosi were at each other's throats. I just say a news blip the other day where Pelosi said she admires AOC. What caused the about face?
I've been there in the black pill depression, fren. It's awful. About a week after the riots started I just couldn't shake that everything was lost and even if we did win the election it was just one bad vote away from losing everything. And honestly that may be true, but I refuse to live like that. We survived Obama. The nation has survived Socialist presidents. And I believe there is still hope that God will see us through.
Anyway, I say all that, but I'll share with you (and anyone else reading this) a set of videos that helped me spit out that proverbial black pill. I've posted these a few times, and maybe I should make a few more posts for a little black pill survival guide.
These videos went a long way towards smacking the black pill out of my hand, and I still think a lot of folks here could use the splash of cold water to the face.
The tl;dr on all of these is that we're in the middle of a big MSM psyop that wants you depressed and thinking we've lost. They want you mad that Trump and his people "aren't doing anything"(tm). They want you to tear the Republicans apart in your fury. They want you to feel like you are losing so you burn your side to the ground. This is what Rush was inadvertantly doing today.
But the thing is you have to stop buying into all of it. Things aren't great. We all agree. But stop playing into the left's hands. Stop buying the lies. And above all, like Styx said, stop guzzling the leftwing propaganda.
The media hates all of us and wants us depressed and suicidal. And if you really think about where your feelings of depression and fear are coming from, it's propaganda the media has been putting out. The idea that everyone believes the Wu Flu is the most deadly pandemic in the world. The idea Antifa and BLM are millions strong. The idea that vote by mail is guaranteed. The idea that Biden has a massive lead. All of it is lies based on creative narratives and biased polls.
The other takeaway from the videos is that the left has overstretched to such a degree that they can't possibly walk it back fast enough at this point. They moved the Overton Window (the range of what consists of far left, moderate, and far right) so far to the left that even moderate liberals now look like hardcore Alex Jones right-wingers.
The point is the left is not galvanized. The left is at war with themselves. These riots are leftists destroying other leftists. The cancel culture craze is leftists in a purity spiral. The more the right keeps out of it, the better we're doing, because the leftists don't have one central enemy to fight outside of Bad Orange Man, and their own people who can't virtue signal hard enough to appease the furious Bernie Bros. They blew way past the moderate left and are focused on trying to get the hardcore crazed Commie left on board. And everyone is seeing it now.
Have some hope. I'm not saying be complacent. I'm not saying "Trust Sessions" (tm), but I am saying calm down a little bit and realize if we weren't on the cusp of winning this wouldn't be happening.

I can attest to this. I also try my damnedest to stay positive but there are some days I just can't do it and find it all hopeless. Our country and way of life is on the line and we're up against evil people who will do anything possible to win so it's natural to feel negative some days.

We do not want to have indictments just to lose cases to dirty judges. Just look at the Flynn case.
