I, too, believe it's higher. In addition, his approval rate among Republicans alone is VERY high-- somewhere around 96%. That usually translates to enthisiasm.
I stopped a leftist cold with "Trump is polling within the margin of error of Obama's approval rating at the same time of their presidencies - by the same polling company."
His answer? "I never knew how unpopular Obama was."
