US Mail is pointless. Literally I only receive important mail every few MONTHS. EVERYTHING else is done in email. Otherwise it's nothing but circulars, valpaks, political crap, or fliers. They shuffle paper around in order to get a post mark on it for proof. Why not just expand notary capacity?
I've only worked in financial sectors but anytime we needed something delivered, it was FedEx or UPS 100%. There is no trust in the USPS and we can't rely on them to deliver information to clients.
If we sent clients information and they didn't receive it, then we said, "We sent it through the post office", they would flip out and drop us in a heartbeat. It's just bad business, USPS is a known loser and has been for 20 years.
I had a check mailed to me from my financial advisor. Pretty big check. I have informed delivery or whatever from the USPS so I saw it was in my mail to be delivered. Didn't arrive. I immediately called my advisor and they stopped the check and resent it using FedEx. I reported the missing mail piece to the USPS and the check was mysteriously found a few days later.

For bank statements and bills I do everything online and paperless. No way am I trusting the USPS to get anything done.
Good for you but literally everyone in business needs the mail to work. Don't be a cuck.
