They already close more than half of the time in my city. They used to be 24 hours, so you could always pick up and drop off mail whenever convenient, but homeless people started living in the post offices, so instead of being adults and just hiring a security guard to make them leave, or god forbid, have the city not enact policies that enable junkie homeless behaviors in the first place, they just decided to close down except for 9-5.
