If the article / unconfirmed driver account is to be believed. The rioter pointed his assault rifle at the car/ driver and the driver fired 5 shots at the rioter. The other 3 shots were other rioters shooting at the car.
Of course, pointing a rifle (or any firearm) at someone is in the very least aggravated assault. And in any self-defense case is legal means for the victim to use lethal force in self-defense.
Ask yourself, if you pointed a rifle at the police and didn't fire it, just pointed it at them, what would happen next?
So McCloskeys in St Louis were legitimately aggravated assault? Fear of death or severe bodily injury is the standard for use of lethal force, in WI that also pertains to defending someone else. How can you NOT have that fear when the horde is 40' from your house?
Anybody without that fear since 5/26 is being reckless. They proved they were out for blood. They proved they want us dead.
There 5 shots of the AK, and 3 shots of a handgun.
I think our soyboy shot his AK in the air to intimidate the car / make it stop and not force the barricade.
The guy in the car did not appreciate being intimidated and shot him.
Article states that the protesters surrounded Daniel Perry's car. Garrett Foster asked Perry to lower his window. He did and then Foster raised his AK and pointed it at Perry. At that point, fearing for his life, Perry fired 5 shots at Foster hitting him multiple times. The three shots you hear after that are from another protester firing at Perry's vehicle. Perry immediately dialed 911 and reported what happened. Police talked with both Perry and the protester who shot at Perry's vehicle (I'm assuming separately) and released them both.
Except he didn't shoot at another man. Still though - you don't point rifles at people. Ever.

There's also another shot, moments later. I don;t see why the "peaceful protester" firing 3 or 4 times at a fleeing car isn't charged?
That was what people were initially saying. It turned out the rifle dude never fired.

Warning shots are stupid.
How about you actually read the article?
Or just listen to the video. 5 shots was the driver the 3 were a totally other guy returning fire on the driver. Very peacefully protesters.

That's not what happened at all. AK Larper never fired a shot.
Lol that pussy didn't even get to fully LARP.
Sure sounds like that. Driver says he shot first.
There's also another shot fired, moments later. I don't see why second / last shooter wasn't charged for shooting at a fleeing car.
If you point your weapon at something, you better have the intention to shoot it. I agree.
Anything worth shooting once is worth shooting twice. Bullets are cheaper than lives.
the video i saw, we heard 5? shots and then three.
most of the 'experts' weighing in claimed it was the first five shots of a rifle
and then muffled shots of a pistol from the inside of a car...
could all be lies.
