With another round of stimulus coming, I intend to give a chunk to police, preferably local police. How do I best support them? Is there a national fund for police equipment like body armor? I won't give to union's or police societies. I want the money to go toward police, not some political campaign. Any LEOs with some insight?

Call your local PD and ask when they have their shift change or meeting. Have alot of pizza or what ever delivered. Call before the delivery and let them know whats coming and why. They will be thrilled.

Many departments have a "wish list" for items not commonly included in base funding.

Surprisingly, a common item on the wish list is body armor for K-9s. It's expensive. Many K-9s wear what the department has versus armor for that specific animal.

Another thing to consider is that it is likely that the police only accept food from restaurants they trust. A gift card or paid balance on future orders would be appreciated.
