What's this "basic decency for others"?

Honestly, what is this phrase? What does this even mean?

Two people interrupting two other people sitting down to have breakfast, outside, on a public bench, already socially distanced from anyone else... that is rude or "indecent". Ya don't do that. Right?

This is why mask mandates, as a city, county or state "law", are a real problem --It gives a false impression that that rando citizen can enforce the mandate the way they see fit.

I believe there are real issues with any government forcing someone to wear a garment (no matter the reason) under penalty of taking away their Happiness/Property (e.g., a fine) or their Liberty (e.g., arrested and jailed.

Rando citizens with a false sense of policing powers is a REAL problem. Like, you know, mobs start that way.

I know that these counties and state "leaders" want discord, they want violence; they want chaos. And, if they don't know that and even though many have been told this, the evidence speaks for itself:

  • People being beaten for being in a Starbucks with out a mask
  • A mother in a grocery store with two children under the age of 7 verbally abused by another woman wishing death on the mother's children
  • Throwing hot coffee and assaulting someone for sitting down outside, socially distanced from anyone else, eating a burrito

They're Mask Nazis. It's scary. These people have gone mad.

We’ll, I don’t see it as they have gone mad.

They believe they State has empowered them with the Right or arrest and/or assault. And that’s the problem — the rule itself is based on conflicting data and fundamentally unconstitutional and that is mad/insane.

And, 100% agree... this is the result Mask Nazis.

My problem with this whole fiasco, from Day 1 is that we, the people, and the government we form, don't seem to be operating on any principles that we have had for 200 plus years.

What is the end game? What principle is guiding the coffee slingers? Should they be policing the entire Manhattan Beach scene for violators?

Keep in mind, this started in a big way back in 2001. "If you see something, say something." Two mid twenties people like them (I'm guessing) have never been in a world where you're not supposed to rat out someone SIMPLY BECAUSE YOU THINK THEY ARE SUSPICIOUS, or in this case BECAUSE THEY MIGHT BE ENDANGERING YOU OR SOMEONE ELSE. That's what they've been told in school, on public transportation, by the "news", in airports, and now even as they walk around at Costco "wear your mask... keep a safe distance... we want you to be safe... let us know about suspicious packages... if you see something say something, citizen."

So, here we are, I guess.

Welcome, friends to August 1, 2020. The state is your daddy (see the official BLM website), and western whiteness is bad. Words can cause damage. So can, we're told, silence. Citizens have the duty to snitch on each other. We've always been at war with Eastasia.

Anyone who believes otherwise should be pointed to Islamic countries and them forcing women to wear burkas.

By the way, how are those burka countries doing? They have been wearing "masks" so they shouldn't be affected by the virus according to leftist logic.

Basic decency: not beating the ever loving shit out of both of them and leaving them bleeding and unconscious in the street.
