President Donald J Trump has been a vocal critic of mail in voting. This type of voting is were you, the voter, marks his ballot the same way you would at a polling station, but instead of handing it to a clerk, or even being at a polling station, you mail the ballot in. This ballot is marked with a party letter (R for republican, D for dem, l for libertarian so in and so forth) and the county name( say Macomb county). They are delivered to a ballot counting area. Now, for good reason, Trump has states that this will lead to a fraudulent election, and even (jokingly obviously) said perhaps the election should be postponed. But, I can see Trump is expertly goading the media, Democrats, and their voters, into a trap. For one, in the California election, thousands of mail in ballots were rejected due to lack of signatures, and other inaccuracies. Same thing happened in New York. Ballots were rejected a lot. So now that dems will vote mostly by mail, they are luring themselves into the trap. While at the polling station clerks would say if you forget a signature, you should write it. That doesn’t happen at home. So now, with rejected ballots, on top of the lack of college voters due to the pandemic, Dems are panicking, as all signs indicate that they are losing the advantage.

well ballots should not have any indication on the outside which party theybare for after having been filled out. that's just asking for tampering

Great point! Also note the difference between absentee ballots and mail in: Absentee ballots have to be REQUESTED by a registered voter. "Mail-in" ballots are just mailed to everyone on the rolls - people who could have moved, died, etc. If someone on the receiving end of a non-valid ballot decided to vote as that person, how would anyone know?

At work, we won’t send even the smallest check before we receive verification of address. There’s no way there are enough checks in whatever skeleton of a system they’ve Frankensteined together for this to be even remotely accurate.
