maybe not have your primary source of income being making content for someone else's platform and get a real job?

I'm glad you found a niche of people making decent content, but to say these people are going to lose the ability to put bread on their table is a little disingenuous. These ranged from 2k views to 80k with very few comments. I would wager they aren't making money off these videos, and if they are? It's nowhere near enough to support a family....which means the banning of tiktok is at MOST taking their pocket money.

That's something I can live with if it means a little less CHYNA on the airwaves.

The difference is, on YouTube people are putting out 3-5 videos a week. Unless you’re insanely dedicated like Tim Pool and putting out 3-5 hours daily. These people on tiktok don’t put out one video a day. They put out quite a few. So per video they might not be making a lot, but when the 5-6 videos they put out a day starts to add up, it could be decent money.
