Chinese nationals use their children as a way to hold investments in the PNW. Buy them 400k supercars to drive to community colleges and massive houses(typically 20% over asking and cash) in the area that goes empty most of the year OR is occupied by 20 year olds(who all dump their money into designer clothing). They buy up entire neighborhoods and move their mistresses in to visit. massive yachts if their homes are lakefront. commercial real estate/landgrabs everywhere.
Its hard to explain without ypu physically witnessing it but the entire redmond/bellevue area is flooded with chinese who are insanely pretentious and clearly "someone" back in china.
If their government is allowing them to leave and "hide" money in USA...while they're working in tech here in the states...chances are they "visit family" in china to get marching orders quarterly.
Meh, this is a pretty doomsday scenario if you ask me. I think things are not as bad as they seem and not as good as they seem. Dollar bursting? If anything that's good for U.S exports...which is of course what Trump wants to increase. I don't see how that's necessarily a bad thing.
