The tweet is of course genius and presidential. Because Trump is a genius and president, and therefore everything he does is both genius and presidential.

But really, stop and think about what this SHOWS, not what it SAYS. This is good stealth persuasion here, and pretending to disapprove is the key to it all sliding past the targets defenses and into their minds (the target isn't you or me in this case, and we have to live with the fact not all of Trump's tweets are targeted at us, especially right before the election).

1. People have seen left wing extremists burning, looting, rioting, and generally being ugly and disruptive. What image are these right wing "extremists" projecting? They just look like a bunch of people having a good time.

2. Most people have the incorrect image that the "conspiracy theorists" are just small groups of people hiding out in basements. This crowd is large, jolly, and filled with a bunch of pretty normal looking people, not the freak show the leftwing usually looks like. This is basically one of the best advertisement "conspiracy theorists" could possibly get.

3. It tightens the bind the democrats are currently in about supporting protests vs supporting locking everyone down.

Take a step back from complaining the tweet doesn't do anything for YOU and imagine the absolute work this is going to do on the average clueless person's mind. And how much more they need it than you do.
