My whole generation is just a complete disaster. Thinking of my wife and my friends all between 30-35, most are either still single or married with no children. Maybe one or two besides us have kids. My brothers' generation is that so-called tweener generation and by now all of their friends were married with children. It's a mess, millennials have no desire to grow up and take real responsibility.
So whose fault is it that they were "raised really poorly"? By your logic I could argue it's not the parents' fault because the parents could have been raised in such a poor manner that they grew up not knowing how to raise their own children. How could we prove it's the grandparents' fault that the parents were raised poorly and not the great-grandparents, or so on?
Are we not absolving everyone of all responsibility by blindly pointing blame at all parents without knowing concrete?
Honestly I think the world would be a bit saner if more people read the book "The Nurture Assumption".
