Ordering a child to be starved to death and walling off the child in a hospital with doors guarded by police is what happened here. Taking hostages, fortifying you & your victims into a building, threatening to kill them, and then carrying out the killings has been the stuff of murder films and literature for centuries, but in Britain this is what the government does its citizens.
I was about to say what happened in this case is nothing new for the UK. The only new thing is now it’s impacting members of a “marginalized” population instead of just native Brits.
