The moment any populace puts government in charge of healthcare, they're putting government in charge of who should die and who should be given every opportunity to live. The commoners will be forced to die and watch their loved ones die and the elites will be given every last chance to live no matter what. This is what government always does. This is why government has to be limited in scope and constantly held in check by the governed. Government is only benign if it's held in check in rigorous manner by the populace but once government is given the power of life and death, it's immediately going to decide that your life has less value and their lives are sacrosanct. You can see this in the deaths during this pandemic. Five Democrat governors made the decision that nursing home patients' lives are totally expendable but black lives matter political movement is worth the spread of a pandemic. You can't have a funeral for your loved ones but politically expedient show funerals for the likes of George Floyd and John Lewis are so important, their funerals go on for an entire week.
