I live in a mask mandatory state. I usually try to enter first without the mask, and i'll eventually relent once police request.
When i do wear the mask, it is a bandana designed with an image of the flag. Figured it was a way to flip them off while complying.
On https://www.military.com/flag-day/us-flag-code.html, §8. d. states that it shouldn't be worn as apparel. §8. d. would ruin most people's 4th of july wardrobe. I don't give a shit about some dog face pony soldier lib quoting flag code to me to "undermine my patriotism". I am, however, not a veteran or LEO. I wouldn't want to piss on their graves.
How do you pedes feel about this? I've been so against buying any masks. The only other consideration at this point will be a MAGA mask.
I feel like at this point we are at war. The pure patriotism of wearing red white and blue proudly is needed in the culture war against the Marxists. But do we violate our own codes while doing it?
The FLAG should not be worn as apparel. As in you should not take an American flag and cut it into something to wear. That doesn't mean you can't have the image of the flag on apparel.

I dont think the image of the flag is an actual flag, so you are fine. If you drew something over the image I would say that's disrespectful. I doubt a vet or leo would have a problem. I'm a veteran and I would like to see more images of our flag around

Thats talking about the flag. A bandana with the flag on it is not the flag.
Regardless a lot of the flag code is a bit much. Is anyone really gonna drive by someones house, who is displaying the flag, and say its disrespectful because its night time and not illuminated? Do we say how disrespectful it is when an athlete wins something and hugs the flag and parades around in it?
Naa, that's not as much what I'm worried about.
In central jersey, unless you're a based burrito man with a body cam (i'm working on it), people don't wear their MAGA hats as much.
Flag apparel, Flynn apparel, etc seems to be the universal "you're not alone" garb around here.
I personally wear a Space Force hat usually as well. Less screeching but plenty of thumbs ups.

I'm a veteran. And I demand we ALL wear as much red white and blue as possible. At this point in time it is the ultimate show of respect for your country.
I don’t believe it is disrespectful to wear a flag mask. I wear one and I 100% respect the flag.
