Per the video: It is classified as a "firearm" and not a shotgun. Not sure what that means. In Michigan it would be classified as a "long gun".

Firearm designation gets around the pesky ATF barrel Length and appendages the feds like to stick on guns. Basically it makes sawed off shoutguns illegal but this designation gets around that label.

Lead or steel or tungsten, 1350fps with shot shells carries a need for distinction. Probably better defined as high-brass aka magnum load. Can you fill it with 3" slugs?

I've had at one point or another, Seven Saiga-12s and I've made them all run perfectly on Federal 7.5 Shot Bulk Packs.
