They've been voted one of the worst companies in America multiple times and brushed it off with dismissive ridicule, thanking people for voting them the worst instead of oil companies. I haven't purchased one of their games in years and won't be for the foreseeable future.
I think they're even infamous for stealing the code for the first Madden game that got them into the sports game racket in the first place. (look up Larry Bundy Jr's video on that, but others have talked about it too)
Same thing happened to Halo. Microtransaction (req pack) proceeds going to BLM/NAACP legal defense. Big nope. Played since the first one came out when I was a teen. Won't buy the next one.
Also, in the MCC, they added the black/brown striped gay pride flags as emblems during pride month, and the BLM Marxist fist logo emblem complete with African flag colors.
Never had a reason to add pride flag emblems before. Closest they got before was a rifle skin with a rainbow down the top. Now that there is a PoC pride flag and a massive race riot they're getting on board.

They would never make a game with a campaign like that today, but it really shined in pvp. Atv's, tanks, choppers, sensible classes, balance, totally destructive environments... It played like a dream, back in its day because it focused on and rewarded fun.

I used to play RPGs - then I wondered why I spent so much time learning "skills" in a video game - when I could literally learn them IRL.
I even tried to track my progress like an RPG.
