I could have told you to stay away from Enormous Assholes long before any of this happened. They rely on a monopoly to maintain their business. Buying up exclusive NFL rights and whatnot to prevent competition. Plus they're anti-consumer (anyone remember their online pass?). Oh yeah, and they're headquartered out of Los Angeles.
They've been voted one of the worst companies in America multiple times and brushed it off with dismissive ridicule, thanking people for voting them the worst instead of oil companies. I haven't purchased one of their games in years and won't be for the foreseeable future.
I think they're even infamous for stealing the code for the first Madden game that got them into the sports game racket in the first place. (look up Larry Bundy Jr's video on that, but others have talked about it too)
