I'm planning on buying a hand-gun and a rifle, possibly a shot gun as well, for self and home defense.
As these will be my first gun purchases, any recommendations?
I'll will also be signing up for classes/training to be properly educated, and maybe to get my concealed carry.
I would just cover the basics. Pump shottie like a Remington 870 for home defense. Pistol for carry or in your car, Glock 19 is great. If you have a Mrs like a small 380 pistol for her or something she can handle. Good luck with ammo, though. I got some 9mm today and was damn lucky to get it.
