I get so tired of the libs always talking about helping the homeless. These people don't want help. There are some homeless people that really are down on their luck and life has just knocked the hell out of them. They're 1/99. Pretty much everyone who's homeless put themselves there, and doesn't want out of it. If you gave them 10 million dollars today they'd be homeless in 6 months.

However I really don't know what you do about them. I can't come up with an answer that doesn't violate their rights, because the only solution I can think of is a bullet.

American prisons are not gulags because you end up in there if you're a criminal.

You ended up in a gulag for the wrong political ideas.

At most, European prisons could be considered gulags because in Europe you do end up in prison for the wrong political ideas

I don’t know why most people hate private prisons; they feel because it is private, then it must be bad and they always focus on Hollywood fake propaganda about it. The only reform I can consider is sales and use of marijuana and some other non-lethal drugs.

The argument goes that if prisons are private then there's an interest group that will lobby for putting people to jail unnecessarily.

There's some truth in that, but then again, everything can have its own lobby group.

People should definitely not be put in jail for personal consumption of drugs, that seems like a no brainer.

They are homeless by circumstance, the problem they have is drugs. And legalization of drugs makes the problem worse. Legalized weed started this and the slippery slope is confirmed. Now all drugs are effectively legal on the west coast and look what happened?

If you don’t legalize, they would still get it. The demand for weed from Americans is very high.legalizing it made things worse but how can you reduce drugs use in society and stop the sales of these drugs.

Keeping it illegal held the floodgates. Legalization of weed was always the first step to full drug legalization.

People aren't homeless because they're weed addicts any more than they're homeless because they can't stop smoking cigarettes.

It's heroin, fentanyl and meth.

Keep that shit illegal.

Yes, the libs are trying to decriminalize everything, but it needed to be done for weed.

If you're anti weed legalization, just know youre advicating big government to terminate small businesses and interfere in the affairs of individuals for partaking in a substance of minimal harm.

You can't be anti-prohibition when it comes to alcohol and for banning pot, without being an abject hypocrite.
