I 'member when it was common in shitty threads for the most upvoted comment was commonly "OP is a faggot"... that was before the dark times...before spez

At this point it seems every major social media is just a PR arm of China and the Dems. Obviously not this one though.

r/askhistorians has always had strict vetting of the comments to ensure that only the most thorough and researched replies are posted.

"Actively moderated" those are the worst.

The HIT - Herd Immunity Threshold - is lower than most people think. For Covid-19 it has already been estimated at about 20%.

All the hysterical fearmongering has two main goals; to steal the election and enforce vaccines each year for it.

That sub is notoriously over moderated in my opinion. Back when I actually used reddit, I thought it would be a good sub to learn about some niche historical questions and topics, but pretty much every thread has a wall of deleted comments. I wouldn't be surprised if they censor "problematic" historical narratives under the guise of quality control. Such a shitty sub on a shitty site.

Would you be surprised to know that that's literally why that sub exists? :)

Hang on, that's just /askhistorians in a nutshell.

It's a stupid fucking sub where every single answer to any question is removed unless a certified expert answers it.
