Asheville was a huge culture shock to me + I'm from NC. Lived in many places... It's been overun with the progressive left. I preferred the surrounding towns.

I felt uncomfortable. It's nothing like what people imagine North Carolina or the south to be like. I encountered a lot of rude people. Felt nothing like "home".
