the Hispanic/Mexican people know. that is why there was an out of the blue Trump parade in McAllen, TX this weekend.

That's huge, considering Hidalgo County (McAllen) voted 69% for Hilary in 2016.

There are a lot of Republicans in disguise.

If you look at Trumps background, he's always done things like this. He's good guy. A no BS guy, but a good guy.

He's been active in charities for decades.

How many other presidents have done something like this? or donate their private plane so a kid could go see a doctor?

Same picture

“Trump coldly offers money to grieving mother to stop her crying,”

Truly disgusting what this man will do for a photo op.

I bet he is glad a soldier died so he can look good.

Ya know what I love most about President Trump....he helps people directly.

Charity, in my mind, doesn't mean donating money to a charity business. It means helping an actual person who actually needs and appreciates the help directly. Not virtue signaling, not setting something up, not having a gala fundraiser but actually helping people directly. I don't even care if the recipients even really absolutely NEED the help, but to give the help because they could use it and be appreciative and because they DESERVE the help in some way.

I had to look into this.

Vanessa Guillen's family refused a military funeral because of how the she died. President Trump offered to help instead.

Trump told them to do whatever they wanted. He is personally paying for it. That is just the kind of man he is.

Yes it’s all taken care of. All Active duty gets SLGI 400k life insurance from day 1. And the funeral is paid in full. Pretty sure suicide and other factors play a role but the only thing I can think of him paying for it, is to be a good guy, and let the family keep the extra $.

Just guessing here, but it might take awhile for the Army to process the paperwork to pay out the money. Meanwhile the family will need money now for the funeral.

Could be the case but fme it’s taken care of regardless. There’s no bill or anything like that. It’s all government funding so all the funerals happen even if the life insurance isn’t in their bank.

Has the funeral happened yet?
