I work for an insurance company and every all employee meeting we hear about the desire to fight systematic oppression, what we are doing to combat that, and how we can promote diversity. The CEO even worried about how we don't have a good diversity of thought and how we need to make people more comfortable being themselves. But throughout the whole meeting it's heavily implied that conservative voices aren't wanted. He even made a comment that implied trump is a joke. Not to mention we won't go back to the office until 2021. Just needed to vent where people will get me.

Edit: just made it a bit more vague so i don't accidently dox myself. I trust you guys, but i'd rather be careful.

I was just wondering... has anyone asked the CEO when he will replace x% of the C-level and board with POC, starting with his position? Maybe get a background campaign going while pretending to be mega- 'woke' about it, then threatening to blast them on social media if they answer anything negative or retaliate against you?

Pretty sure the CEO will STFU pretty quickly (either on his own, or the board of directors will force him to STFU about it...)

I think my company already did that unfortunately.

Very true. I constantly self-censor myself here to avoid being doxed. I personally know a lot of minions of the Tolerant Left™, some of who make no secret that they lurk Reddit T_D trying to "find" me by recognizing my speech-patterns etc and/or personal details I unwisely toss out there. (Because as good little Cancel Culture muppets, they are desperate for targets of opportunity and would delight in "exposing" my true thoughts and other transgressions against "wokeness.")

>Joke's on them, they may/may not know about this place yet (and I haven't been back to Reddit in months.)

Stop caring about being called a racist. It's a made up word with a meaning that keeps changing. Its only purpose is to suppress differing opinions on any issue.

"Pursuing the light of objective truth in subjective darkness."

Start here: https://newdiscourses.com/2020/07/how-talk-your-employers-about-anti-racism/

Excerpt:

Many of the people who write to us ask for our help in writing a letter expressing this feeling in a way that might be effective, and some people have taken our advice and then reported back on the results. This has shown us that it is possible to push back at authoritarian overreach in the names of “Social Justice” or “anti-racism” and persuade employers and coworkers to expand their scope to include a broader range of worldviews in their anti-discrimination initiatives. Near the bottom of this long essay, a sample letter that could be taken and adapted to your own setting is therefore provided.

We can start with firing Fauci and half the CDC, getting the DoJ rolling on lots of stuff that is sorely overdue, cutting off all federal funding to states which refuse to re-open (no federal funding for any related endeavor that is closed due to COVID - e.g. no school/student funding/backing if the college is closed, etc)... can even invoke the Insurrection Act if they get snotty enough.

They won't even be done counting till January.

9
STEVE_HUFFMANS_BULL 9 points ago +9 / -0

So when the electoral college convenes in mid December for the actual presidential election, they do what exactly?

This actually brings up an interesting constitutional question. Amendment 20 says that the term of the president and VP end at noon on January 20, and the terms of their successors begins at the same time. But what if there aren’t any successors because they haven’t been chosen yet? The office of the President can’t be vacant, and yet there’s nobody to fill it

8
kang989 8 points ago +8 / -0

Rush was saying last week that in this exact scenario, the speaker of the house (Pelosi) gets to select the President. Can anyone confirm this?

10
Oback_Barama 10 points ago +10 / -0

All representatives are up for re-election, and their term ends on Jan 3. If they are still counting ballots in Commiefornia then Nasty Nancy might not be there.

Although who am I kidding, Commiefornia will claim to have counted every vote-by-mail in pleanty of time and will have all of their electors and representatives in place...

They are going to delay the count in PA, MI, WI, OH, and FL.

3
nutspanther 3 points ago +3 / -0

If you read the 20th amendment, it states that if no president is selected by Jan 20th, then congress decides the president. In section 4, it seems to state that the House decides the president and the Senate decides the VP.

6
Isolated_Patriot 6 points ago +6 / -0

First question, probably vote whatever way they've been paid to, or someone challenges the whole thing and they reschedule, idk. That could be the actual play for jamming up the system with mail in ballots.

As for the second, 22nd only applies to the president and the vice-president. It doesn't apply to the speaker. It would not be a perfect claim, and there would be a challenge I am sure, but Trump and Pence would be required to vacate either way. Deep State would be happy no matter what debacle is unleashed.

2
Amaroq64 2 points ago +2 / -0

I think most states require them to vote for whatever party that state went to. But some blue states are trying to cheat by requiring them to vote for whoever wins the whole country's popular vote. (So basically reeeing that Trump lost the popular vote by 1% and still won the election.)

It used to not be like that. The electoral college used to be literally just educated and informed voters that the masses selected to vote for them, and the delegates could vote however they wanted. It was intended to combat politicians just using demagoguery to win.

At some point it became bound to the two-party system.

1
deleted 1 point ago +1 / -0
1
OhLollyLollyPop 1 point ago +1 / -0

The electoral college meets to elect the President. Even if the individual votes are not finished counting (they never really are) the states have to send their electors. This is all that is really important, and it's why the Ds want to abolish it.

6
Headline_Correction 6 points ago +6 / -0

ok fine, im hopeful the narrative will be a new hysterical focus on the outcome and not the current bullshit everyone is already burnt on. edit: but if I felt like being a dick I would say the "pandemic" is already over bc you need a healthy steady death count to actually be called a pandemic, what we have now is a recurring high infection rate with a death rate disappointing the deep staters. oh and again its just my opinion. But FURTHER, their plan is to NOT be done counting in Jan so they pull all the COG bullshit... we'll see, but you can be sad all you like

She has ZERO fear of being a progressive working for FOX.

But the NY Times hires a liberal centrist - and the progressives there hound her into quitting.

So a lot of insurance work is administrative in nature, meaning lower level, meaning entry level, meaning recent female college grad or less. They are the ones pushing all this bullshit, and leadership doesn't want to get a bad name within a cheap labor sector, so they just go along with it, hoping it doesn't bite them in the ass one day. There's no fucking coward like a President of VP of a large organization.

Record an executive making statements that "suppress your political views" in the work place. Speak with a lawyer about having a fear express yourself in the workplace due to being retaliated against due to political bias. Open up a conversation with management about your intentions and let them know you've retained a lawyer and they will normally settle instead of going to court.

10
Raritat 10 points ago +11 / -1

Do that after you have secured another job offer.

Telling that you have retained a lawyer is an immediate message and end of the road in the existing company.

6
Generaljohnnyrico 6 points ago +6 / -0

Not necessarily. A company cannot fire you for hiring a lawyer to defend your civil liberties. The company is now forced to address you instead of sweeping it under the rug or be faced with a lawsuit.

You need a public persona and a hidden persona these days. Unless you are self-employed or retired, setting that up is a smart move. Separate devices are the way to go so that employers can't find you.

13
DickPurple 13 points ago +13 / -0

Same here, a major bank. Bunch of wokies started a racial equality channel on internal chat software, I'm afraid to leave or mute it. This has now escalated to management and we now have an official anti-BLM activities committee, their first decision is to have emergency IT project to get rid of master, slave, whitelist, and blacklist across our code base. A few people who objected got railroaded into silence.

I'm no conspiracy theorist, but basically some kind of a brainworm. They taken over HR and I think Corp management thought there is no harm if non-revenue producing employees being on Twitter and into tranny shit, look at how wrong they were. The 5th column had been activated and had taken over, while sane people are covering in fear.

Before you criticize me for not taking a stand, my philosophy is "think as you want, but say what is expected", I will expose power level only if physical safety of me or my family is on the line

13
WaffleBiscuit 13 points ago +13 / -0

I'm lucky enough to have never worked in such a toxic environment, but know people who have.

At my friend's dad's job everybody apparently had BLM pins, and when my friend's dad told the managers because political wear is against company policy everybody got mad at him. His coworkers even brought up personal information that had nothing to do with the pins.

I've had the same experience in a local public school -- at any mandatory diversity or sensitivity training, at some point the instructor and/or other faculty will make some asshole comment about Trump or state that Trump supports are racists, all while admonishing to not "other-ize" people because of their beliefs or preferences.

9

This is result of Gramsci's Long March Through the Institutions. For decades, lefties have sought to rise up in all major organizations and institutions in this country and they will never hire, promote, mentor, publicize or any way help a conservative. They seek to destroy the careers of conservatives. All the while, they seek out other lefties to hire, promote, mentor and help. This is how left wing kooks have risen to the top of almost every single institution in America.

The left also practices a policy of "No enemies to the left" wherein only criticism toward the right is permitted. A centrist Democrat therefore, can and will be criticized by the left, even primaried, challenged and thrown out by the left. Even a solid Democrat liberal will be called out and chastized by the led. However, a solid Democrat liberal or a centrist Democrat will never ever call out a lefty for being a commie.

Here's just one of them-

Dear Friends,

Donald Trump poses an existential threat to our standing in the world and continues to threaten the decades of diplomatic progress we had made.

It is easy to forget from the comfort of our homes that for many people, America is a beacon of hope and opportunity. We're known as a country that keeps our promised and upholds justice and democracy, and that didn't just happen overnight. We've spent decades building our nation's reputation on the world stage through careful, strategic diplomacy -- but in just under four years, Trump has done unspeakable damage to those relationships and has insulted even our closest allies.

Our only hope for reversing this damage is to elect Vice President Joe Biden in November, and that requires significant support from people like you. We know that Joe Biden has what it takes to restore our country's standing in the world and home because We've seen him do it.

Please join Vice President Joe Biden

I hear you, man. I work at a distribution company behind enemy lines (Commiefornia), and my boss has completely lost my respect this year. Wrote a racist-as-fuck company email right after Floyd died. Completely swallowed the Covid-19 lie, and has had us all working from home pretty much permanently since March. When we did open up again, it was masks on everybody, hand sanitizer on all desks, everyone was afraid of each other. He keeps shutting down the office for weeks every time someone has the sniffles. Thinks Trump is to blame for everything.

If I told him what I really think, I am sure I would be asked to clear out my desk.

My wife graduated law school last year. When the kavanaugh hearings were going on they held a student body meeting with the professors to talk about it. We expected it would just be informational but no. It was a cringe fest of believe all women and kavanaugh hate. One woman even said "I'm black so obviously I'm Democrat...". You'd think lawyers of all people would posses logic, or even have the thought of innocent until proven guilty but no. Professors were no better, the dean even apologized for being a while male.

But I know there were many like my wife who didn't want to speak up for fear of the cancel machine.

I'd say if you get any indication the blow is coming, recording the meetings you attend. Just turn your phone on audio-record and leave it running without the screen on. Don't tell anyone.

This may be questionably legal but it has some merit. If what they do is questionably legal, it's useful as a deterrent. They would have to fire you for a legitimate reason, which they would then have to concoct.

At the very least, if you get called in for a "review" of any type, ABSOLUTELY record. That saved at least one person I know in academia when they turned what was supposed to be a routine pleasant review into raking her over the coals and near attacks on her.

This is why we are losing the war. We are scared to say anything, expecting to be removed, and that is almost ok now. If we were as loud and outspoken as them, it would at least put cases like this in the norm and force them to play ball and be tolerant as they can either do it or lose half their workforce. But we sit by and keep our mouths shut. I am as guilty as the next, but we need a cultural awakening to fight back, unfortunately we all have something to lose so wont.

I have met a few that seem tired of it all too. They just want to work and not have this shoved down their throat.

Start networking and getting your name out there at least to get ahead of the hiring rush that will eventually happen. These companies will fail to realize why they lose their best people when they push this garbage of diversity/inclusion and other nonsense, until its too late.

The team that sat next to mine (when we were in the office) very loudly spoke about their left wing politics. Wish i had that freedom.

Worse. I've been made to feel unwelcome. If I was anything but a straight white male, I could sue. If I speak up though, I'll be fired.

And job opportunities? Forget it - it's been made clear, if not explicitly, that people like me won't be put in leadership positions (until this all blows over).

But the company heads are all whites, right?

Start advocating for special treatment for the underprivileged. Don’t investigate claims for minorities. Don’t cancel minority policies for non payment. Increase premiums for whites. Fill all executive positions based on race. Etc. Meanwhile find another job ‘cause that ship is sinking.

Same. I'm no longer attending ours. I've also stop reading all communications from our NYC HQ. In an anonymous employee survey last month I told them I don't look to corporate leaders in a place like New York City to tell me how I should think and feel about my colleagues; their lifestyles and life choices; science topics; the weather; nor my faith in the Almighty. That I continue to try to live by the Golden Rule and do not feel it is wise to accept advice from people who have created a city like New York City through their remarkably poor decisions in elections. Exit plans are being prepared.

I’d be actively looking for a better job or opportunity. I worked for a company like that up until about a month ago. I worked hard til I left abruptly and started my own business. Now if I get a service call from a libtardian guess what?

My previous employer's new inclusion department scheduled me for reeducation because I have unconscious bias. During an interview with my new employer they said that they aren't woke. I jumped up and said SOLD! when do I start? They laughed and hired me without checking my references or work history.

Until you leave for a better job, that won't be hard, document everything. You have civil rights as well and these fucking communist democrats need to be taught that lesson in court.

I'll bet at least 70% of the other employees in those meetings feel the same way you do. The silent majority is real.
