I work for an insurance company and every all employee meeting we hear about the desire to fight systematic oppression, what we are doing to combat that, and how we can promote diversity. The CEO even worried about how we don't have a good diversity of thought and how we need to make people more comfortable being themselves. But throughout the whole meeting it's heavily implied that conservative voices aren't wanted. He even made a comment that implied trump is a joke. Not to mention we won't go back to the office until 2021. Just needed to vent where people will get me.

It's getting harder to keep your head down. These zealots are no longer satisfied with passive compliance, but active affirmation. That's where I draw the line.

Here, too. Back when I worked, no one heard if or cared about any of this. Sounds like the gender studies folks have found a racket to force these companies to hire them.
yeah. They had some option meeting with a BLM type organization that tried to promote the white fragility book and get us all to be anti-racist. I go to the meetings for opposition research. Theres another one friday all about microaggressions. Also wants you to use "microaffirmations" to counter this. It sounds so dumb and im expecting it to be a bunch of "white man bad, but black man can't help himself so we have to do it for him"
This is literal racism at its peak. If you said "black fragility" they would freak out.

We are being forced to affirm natural rights. Better to begin organizing and use words to oppose now. To make clear there's a loud contingent to provide cover for saying "No" in positions of power.
