I work for an insurance company and every all employee meeting we hear about the desire to fight systematic oppression, what we are doing to combat that, and how we can promote diversity. The CEO even worried about how we don't have a good diversity of thought and how we need to make people more comfortable being themselves. But throughout the whole meeting it's heavily implied that conservative voices aren't wanted. He even made a comment that implied trump is a joke. Not to mention we won't go back to the office until 2021. Just needed to vent where people will get me.

They can try, but by that point the President has lots of options open to him that electioneering will no longer stand in the way of.
We can start with firing Fauci and half the CDC, getting the DoJ rolling on lots of stuff that is sorely overdue, cutting off all federal funding to states which refuse to re-open (no federal funding for any related endeavor that is closed due to COVID - e.g. no school/student funding/backing if the college is closed, etc)... can even invoke the Insurrection Act if they get snotty enough.
Sure, but when you're trying to maximize voters, it helps to deny the enemy anything they can construct a narrative around...
